



An historic Scottish burgh with a well-planned walking tour, plus a host of nearby walks – suitable for all ages and abilities.
The town dates back to 1620, and walking around it truly evokes the feeling of stepping back in time. The full circuit is about six miles, and should take around three hours.
Nearby walks take in ruined castles, lochs, quarries and nature reserves, all in some of Central Scotland’s most memorable countryside.
